A balanced pair of monumental arched bookends cut from solid slabs of Calacatta cream stone. Weighted to firmly support art monographs, architectural folios, and treasured libraries, with natural cork bases to prevent shelf scratches.
Pair of 2 bookends. Each curve is carved with waterjet wire saws and finished by hand with 400-grit diamond emery blocks. Current size: Standard Pair (5" W x 2.5" D x 7" H (each)) weighing 8.5 lbs per pair (3.9 kg).
Inspired by classical Roman aqueducts and Italian rationalist arches.
